Front and Back Yard Turf Lawns
Full lawn replacement in areas where real grass struggles, costs too much to water, or never quite recovers between seasons. Turf holds its appearance through the dry months and in the deep shade along a north wall where nothing has grown properly in years.
Pet-Friendly Turf Systems
Turf built for dogs uses a permeable base, higher-flow backing, and an infill that drains and resists odor rather than holding it. The system underneath matters more than the blade here, and pet installations are the ones most often done wrong by crews treating turf as a surface rather than an assembly.
Putting Greens
Custom greens with contouring, cups, fringe, and the shorter, denser turf that produces a true roll. Greens are a grading exercise before they are a turf one, since the base shape is what creates the break and the speed.

Our Artificial Turf Installation Process
Step 1 - Site Visit and Drainage Assessment
We walk the area to assess grade, soil, existing drainage, and where water currently collects, along with how the space is used and by whom. Pets, children, and pool proximity all change the system we specify.
Step 2 - Layout and Product Selection
We lay our turf areas against the surrounding hardscape and planting, then walk you through blade height, color, density, backing, and infill options. Product choice follows use, since a putting green, a dog run, and a front lawn are three different specifications.
Step 3 - Excavation and Grading
The existing lawn or surface is removed, and the area excavated to the depth the system requires, then graded so water moves where it should. Turf laid over inadequate excavation is the single most common installation failure.
Step 4 - Base, Drainage and Weed Barrier
Aggregate base is placed and compacted in lifts, drainage is installed where the site needs it, and a weed barrier is laid. Compaction here is what prevents the low spots and waves that show up in year three.
Step 5 - Turf, Seaming, Edging and Infill
Turf is cut, seamed, and secured with edging that holds the perimeter, then infill is brushed into the specified depth to support the blades and weight the system. Seams and edges are where quality is visible, so both are detailed rather than rushed.
Step 6 - Final Walkthrough and Warranty

How long does artificial turf last?
Quality turf installed over a properly built base commonly holds up well past a decade, and the base outlasts the turf itself. Installations that fail early almost never fail because of the turf. They fail because of shallow excavation, a base that was not compacted in lifts, or drainage that was never addressed.
Does artificial turf drain properly in heavy rain?
It does when the system underneath is built for it. Turf backing is perforated, and the aggregate base is designed to move water through and away, which is why grading and drainage are established before anything is laid. Turf placed over compacted soil with nowhere for water to go will pool, and that is an installation issue rather than a product one.
Is artificial turf safe for dogs?
Yes, with the right system. Pet installations use a more permeable base, higher-flow backing, and an infill selected to drain and resist odor rather than absorb it. Turf specified for a front lawn and installed for a dog run is where most odor complaints originate.
Does turf get hot in direct sun?
It runs warmer than natural grass in full afternoon sun, as any surface does. Blade construction and infill choice affect it, and shade, adjacent planting, and how the area is used all factor into where we recommend turf and where we do not. We would rather tell you an area is a poor candidate than install it anyway.
What maintenance does artificial turf need?
Considerably less than a lawn, but not none. Periodic rinsing, brushing high-traffic areas to keep blades upright, clearing debris, and occasional infill topping. No mowing, no watering schedule, and no fertilizer.
Can you install turf around my pool or play structure?
Yes. Poolside turf needs drainage detailed for splash-out and materials that hold up to chlorinated water and full sun, and play areas can be built over padded underlayment where fall protection matters. Both are specification changes made during design.
